Theme
Not being able to have sexual intercourse due to a too dry vagina.
CA phase
Increase in function, increase in cells in the bartholinic gland.
Biological utility
Increase in mucus production to facilitate penetration of the penis.
Symptoms
None.
PCL phase
Normalization of function. Degradation of extra cells by TB bacteria, if present.
Symptoms
Stinky vaginal discharge, possibly mild night sweats. In syndrome: due to blockage of the drainage passages of the gland, it may swell substantially: bartholinic abscess/cyst.
